Hi there, I tried a 'ls -ltr' of /var/lib/alsa and it looks like the file there is an old one: so there is a script that copy/create/do something on that file if you modify it.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -ltr /var/lib/alsa/ totale 8 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7890 2006-10-19 19:03 asound.state My file is dated THU Oct, 19 but today is MON Oct, 23 and I switched off the PC during the week-end. Hope this help Bye Piero -- /var/lib/alsa/asound.state is resetted at every boot https://launchpad.net/bugs/61256 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
