I can certainly confirm this also.

What makes this all the more confusing, is that there is 2.5.2-2ubuntu4
version of the python2.5 source package in the archive, however
python2.5 and python2.5-minimal at the least, have 2.5.2-2ubuntu5.
Something obviously slipped in the build process for the package,
however I can't rebuild it to try and work it out, as the dependency of
python causes uninstallable packages, and so the circle continues.
