I'm having the same problem, (try to open any of oofice apps and it opens and closes quickly) and once I get the aptitude interface up, I guess I don't know what to do.
Ok, I'm a noob at linux, I admit it. But someone, somewhere must have a step-by-step on how to fix this as it's driving me nuts and I'm the kind of person that wants to have everything working just so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
