Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gproftpd
I'm about to go on a vacation, and before leaving, was checking our ftp/fileserver for any problems and showing my coworker how to administrate some things. When testing gproftpd, I found that it's eating 100% of cpu, and never drawing it's screen. I'm not sure what's changed between now and when it last worked. The box is an old dual cpu pentium 3, running xubuntu feisty. Proftpd works fine, just can't do any GUI configuration. Firefox/etc., are not eating crazy amounts of cpu, so not sure what to investigate first. Any help is greatly appreciated. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 7.04 Release: 7.04 gproftpd 8.2.8-2ubuntu1 proftpd 1.3.0-21ubuntu1 The server itself is running fine. I simply can't administrate over a GUI, having to use mousepad instead. ** Affects: gproftpd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gproftpd eats 100% CPU when launched, blank menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/244571 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
