Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-properties-gtk
Hello. I use Ubuntu 8.04 amd64. My version of the package "software- properties-gtk" is "0.63ubuntu1". During installation, I chose ftp.udc.es as my download server using the "select best server" feature. Two months later or so, when trying to solve a few issues, after having tried out anything else I could think of, I switched back to the main server... and 216 recommended updates appeared! Also, my problems were gone after updating. I have already tried contacting the server's admins, but their web and mailing list seem abandoned too. Maybe this server should be removed from the download servers list until someone takes care of it again.
