None of my users will read NEWS.Debian for firefox or any other apps. Anyway, this change has nothing to do with NEWS.Debian, because this is not debian specific.
This kind of usability change should be mentionned on the release notes of Ubuntu, because changing they way shortcuts work is not a trivial or user-unnoticeable change. There should be a policy for this I think. This should at least be mentioned in the releases notes of Firefox Bon Echo, which is not the case as of : http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/releases/2.0a1.html http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/releases/2.0a2.html http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/releases/2.0a3.html (sorry for bugging Ubuntu with bugs that belong to firefox...) -- [edgy] access keys do not work https://launchpad.net/bugs/63955 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
