I can confirm this bug. A work around is to type in console "sudo modprobe -r ehci_hcd". After this the drve (and my usb cam work as expected. So maybe there is something wrong in the order that ehci_hcd and ohci_hcd are loaded. If this give not the espected result, try to add in /boot/grub/menu.lst acpi=nopci to the boot parameters. With an older ATI SB600 chipset at a gigabyte board this one helps.
