Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I reassigned the 'Open Parent' navigation shortcut to be 'Backspace', to make it like windows explorer. Unfortunately, this make it impossible to use backspace while editing a file/dir name. Expected: backspace in the edit box deletes the character behind the cursor. Got: nautilus does 'Open Parent', since it is mapped to 'Backspace' shortcut. I maintain that shortcuts should be disabled while the text edit widget is active. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- use of backspace in rename edit box conflicts with menu shortcut https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
