The same error occurs, but '/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd -r' returns nothing. My steps: 1) Ran '/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd -r' on the command line 2) Put in two blank DVD-Rs in both my DVD-ROM and DVD-RAM drives 3) Went to 'Places > Blank DVD-ROM Disc' and the same error appeared. 4) Went back to the command line to see that '/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd -r' returned nothing. 5) Manually went to 'burn:///' and that also returned nothing for '/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd -r'
I also found it interesting that only one DVD-R was detected. The other device says "Unable to mount location / No media in the drive". The drives work perfectly fine in Windows. The DVD-RAM (the one that detected my DVD-R is an LG, bought about 3 months ago) while the other one came with my Dell XPS Gen 5 in August 2005. I will give you the model numbers of both upon request. -- Could not open location 'burn:///' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235228 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
