Public bug reported: pyrocket is a PyGTK application to operate the Dream Cheeky Rocket Launcher from Linux. The .deb installer will give user-permissions to the USB device. Automatic detection of the launcher device and a joystick is performed at runtime. The device's limit switches are monitored via USB so as not to damage the turret motors.
This package is for a different device than the "pymissile" package. Source is available on my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~kostmo/+archive More info about the application is here: http://kostmo.ath.cx/hobby/#cheeky Notes: to do a full test, you'll need one of these: http://dreamcheeky.com/index.php?pagename=product&pid=1 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Assignee: Karl Ostmo (kostmo) Status: In Progress ** Tags: needs-packaging ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Karl Ostmo (kostmo) Status: New => In Progress -- [needs-packaging] pyrocket https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242910 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
