It is quite difficult to remove the no-listen tcp option from the x-server start. The question is if this is wanted or not.
I am not sure for which problem this need to be changed, however, I have found that for most of my problems in this regard, it was not necessary for me to change this, but using ssh -Y (-Y is doing X-forwarding via ssh) was enough to get around this problem. I will try to find my notes how I was able to take out the -nolisten tcp option and will add it here. ** Changed in: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist Assignee: (unassigned) => Ralph Janke (txwikinger) Status: New => Confirmed -- Can't get rid of nolisten tcp in kdmrc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242502 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
