I'm sorry to hear that you have been bit by this bug:

We "think" that it was fixed in the development version (specto-woutc
branch), but we are not sure 120%. If this is in your skillset, you
might want to run the specto-woutc bazaar branch and help test if this
is fixed. Indeed, the problem is that this issue happens once every few
months or so, it is not easy to reproduce.
