I can confirm, I had thought it was heat related but after I had started monitoring the heat I found out it crashed/freezed at relatively cool levels. When using the Nvidia drivers from the restricted drivers manager my system would be constantly crashing especially when running video, flash or other graphically intensive applications. Switching off the nvidia drivers helps alot but would still occasionally crash, but much less. In my case the whole system crashes, having the mouse still active would probably mean xorg is fine but something else is acting up.
