I don't think this is a network manager bug but it is certainly a serious problem. Both 2.6.24.18 and 19 both manage to hose not just my fancy new wireless card but also my as-generic-as-John-Smith onboard wired ethernet. Kernels up to 2.6.24.17 work as right as rain and then just bomb once you hit 18.
