I do have the same problem with Firefox 3 on Ubuntu 8.10 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061015 Firefox/3.0
2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux Strangely, when I created a new account on my machine, the bug is not present on the other account. So I guess this bug is related to a configuration of the account or of firefox itself. In particular, I modified the gnome configuration to use the /home/<user> directory as the desktop and modified the configuration of firefox to download the files to the same directory (i.e. to my desktop). This bug occurs EVERYTIME I download a file (firefox crashes as soon as the file has been received), it is very annoying. I hope "someone can help us".
