Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: powernowd

Hello there,
i'm not an expert of init scripts, but i've checked powernowd to be started in
System-Administration-Services..but it doesn't start on startup :( (frequency
applet stays @ 3ghz), if i "sudo /etc/init.d/powernow restart" then it starts
working (from what the applet is saying)

Here is some infos:

$ cat /etc/modules
# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded
# at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with "#" are ignored.
