Hi all, As I see it if we patch reportbug to simply to "apport-cli -f -p <package>" when reporting to Ubuntu then we get bug reports going to the correct place, with little effort.
I see there was concern expressed that this may not fit in with some developers way of working. For instance it would not work well in text mode, which some people may like to use. Would it be acceptable to do this by default, but have a way to file a signed report to lp as well? There is already a --sign option, so this could be used to indicate that the reporter wants to use the email method. There would however still be more work to do to present the lp bug information through the reportbug interface.
