Thankfully, since nothing has changed in vnc4server, Dossy Shiobara's Gutsy patch (above) also works just fine for Hardy. I followed a slightly different procedure:
- Download Dossy's vnc4-amd64-vncconfig-bug-119982.patch above - Become root - Make sure /etc/apt/sources.list has a "deb-src" line to match its "deb" line for the main Ubuntu archive, including the "universe" label.
