Public bug reported:

When creating a user, Ubuntu creates a default ~/.bashrc file.

I see a typo in the comment in this file: *sucessive* -> successive

Also, why HISTCONTROL variable is set twice in ~/.bashrc? One should
be commented or removed.

# don't put duplicate lines in the history. See bash(1) for more options
export HISTCONTROL=ignoredups
# ... and ignore same sucessive entries.
export HISTCONTROL=ignoreboth

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
