Almost two years later I opened the enclosure and took a look at which
chips that were on the controller card. I found three:

* CY7C68013-100AC
* Oxford Semiconductor FW911PLUS-TQ-A
* AGERE FW802B

The disk now works with Ubuntu 8.04, but file transfer is pretty slow,
11 MB/s with USB2, 13MB/s with Firewire.
