Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

When i start the computer i can choose or ubuntu or windows XP. To start
ubuntu i have 8 rules to start and then i get one rule with somethink
like a testprogram en then one rule to start windows. How can i hide the
other rules from ubuntu, so i become one rule to start my ubuntu. I
don't want to have 8 rules to start ONE program.

Rule 1: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-18-generic
rule 2: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-18-generic (recovery mode)
rule 3: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-17-generic
rule 4: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-17-generic (recovery mode)
rule 5: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-16-generic
rule 6: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-16-generic (recovery mode)
rule 7: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic
rule 8: ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic (recovery mode)
rule 9: ubuntu test program
rule 10: Windows XP

Maybe now it's clear to you to understand wat is my question: Why do i
have 8 rules to start ubuntu, i only want to choose 1 rule to start my
computer with ubuntu?!

Why, when I start the computer it wil starts with 8 rules. 2 rules from kernel
2.6.22-14-generic and (recovery mode), also kernel 2.6.24-16-generic and kernel
2.6.24-17-generic en kernel 2.6.24-18-generic. Is it not possible to have only
one rule to start my computer?
