I have determined that the problem lies with javascript. Most streaming radio stations use either Flash Player, javascript player(s), or .pls formats. All of the radio stations that stream Coast to Coast AM use some sort of javascript player. Probably the same one that Paltalk uses. After searching for days on end I found that KFI also streams a "classic" javascript player that worked for me tonight.
