I am unable to install the required dbgsym packages. They appear to have a bad dependency version string:
$ sudo apt-get install firefox-3.0-dbgsym \ > xulrunner-1.9-dbgsym \ > libgtk2.0-0-dbg \ > libnss3-0d-dbgsym \ > libnspr4-0d-dbg \ > libpango1.0-0-dbg \ > libcairo2-dbg \ > libc6-dbg Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: firefox-3.0-dbgsym: Depends: firefox-3.0 (= 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) but 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 is to be installed xulrunner-1.9-dbgsym: Depends: xulrunner-1.9 (= 1.9+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) but 1.9~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1~8.04.2 is to be installed E: Broken packages $ ** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- Firefox randomly and silently exits https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238775 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
