I have a Wubi install of Hardy Heron on my Sony Viao Z505HS. Boot halts at Clocksource tsc unstable. I read the rest of this thread and the following list in my grub boot file.
'clocksource=hpet' It worked once, but only once. Now it fails again on the same line. I don't know why. The grub file has not changed or reverted.
