You were right with the fta repo it screwed up my package configuration so I re-installed Ubuntu. I reverted back to RC1 but of course the problem still persists. I had it not crash for one instance when I deactivated all extensions but I couldn't reproduce it. I followed all steps above, removed libflashplayer.so from plugins, libflashsupport is not installed. The system is a fresh clean install but all configurations and profiles are carried over from older installations.
FF still crashes when selecting Youtube bookmarks in the library and all I get is a "Segmentation Fault" output in the shell. This concerns all running Firefox instances they all crash simultaneously. xulrunner-1.9 (1.9~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1) xulrunner-1.9-gnome-support (1.9~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1) firefox (3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0) I will now of course re-install flashplugin-nonfree and reactivate my extensions. Will repeat steps to generate more info if necessary or desired. -- Youtube bookmarks crash firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239008 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
