The problem became more and more annoying. In the meantime I figured out that
it must be a problem between pidgin and orbit.
I took two screen shots.
The first one shows pidgin in the "suddenly freez" state:
http://kev.knet.eu/bugs/launchpad-227714/pidgin-freez.png
For the second one, I killed the pidgin process and started pidgin again, I did
this with strace to see what's the last thingt pidgin is doing before the
freeze.
Above the red line you see some kind of causation, an orbit file, I don't know
what it is for: http://kev.knet.eu/bugs/launchpad-227714/pidgin-freez-strace.png
After I kill pidgin again and delete this file pidgin will work again until
some time, than it freeze again, I have to start it with strace then to delete
this file and then I can use pidgin again for some time...and so on.
The file is always another hex number this time it was:
"/tmp/orbit-kevin/linc-1b73-0-41a1e7cac072a",

I hope this may help for debugging. If you need more information, please ask, I
really wan't to help debugging, because I like pidgin and want to use it in a
normal way...
Thanks a lot.
