Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pm-utils

For instance, I put the following lines in my /etc/hdparm.conf:
/dev/sda {
        apm = 254
}

After the boot, I can see that the given parameter "apm" has been correctly set
using "sudo hdparm -I /dev/sda".
However, after a suspend, it is always switched back to the value 128, as if I
didn't set anything in /etc/hdparm.conf.

To suspend to RAM, I'm using the following command: "sudo pm-suspend
--quirk-vbe-post"
