Oh yes, I am very sorry. It was already installed from an outside repository. Coming from Gentoo, I assumed that the package in question would be downgraded automatically if the current package on the mirrors has a lower version number. My bad.
I manually pulled the package from the mirrors and installed it. Works fine now.
