Has there been any progress on this problem? I am trying to connect to a scheduleworld LDAP server. server: ldap.scheduleworld.com Port: 389 No encryption Using distinguished name Login: uid=xxxxx,dc=scheduleworld,dc=com
If I try to find search bases on the details tab, I get Failed to Authenticate I get no prompt for my password. So the message is not surprising. I have removed the exchange add in. I can access the database using ldapsearch ldapsearch -H ldap://ldap.scheduleworld.com:389/ -D "uid=xxxx,dc=scheduleworld,dc=com" -vvv -x -W -L -b "uid=xxxx,dc=scheduleworld,dc=com" -s one If I run the data server and evolution from the console I see the following. evolution impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_BookFactory_getBook + ldap://ldap.scheduleworld.com:389/??one? in server_log_handler libebookbackend-Message: libldap vendor/version: OpenLDAP 2.00.407 in server_log_handler libebookbackend-Message: library extensions present: in server_log_handler libebookbackend-Message: X_OPENLDAP in server_log_handler libebookbackend-Message: THREAD_SAFE in server_log_handler libebookbackend-Message: X_OPENLDAP_THREAD_SAFE => 0x63c980 impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_Book_open (0x63c980) in server_log_handler (evolution-data-server-2.22:16866): libebookbackend-WARNING **: Invalid credentials while connecting (ldap_error 0x31) impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_BookFactory_getBook + file:///home/jkendric/.evolution/addressbook/local/system => 0x648920 impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_Book_open (0x648920) (evolution-data-server-2.22:16866): libedata-book-WARNING **: impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_Book_getBookView ((contains "x -evolution-any-field" "")) e_data_book_respond_get_book_view book_view file uref -- LDAP fails. Says it can't find the server, but the server is there and spelled correctly. Works in Windows. Problem is probably with the authentifiaction. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123282 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
