I have the same problem on my Acer TravelMate 4601LMi laptop, running Ubuntu 8.04 with kernel 2.6.24.18 (also with some older kernel versions of this release):
When I hibernate the computer, right after hibernation it reboots so I have to turn it off manually by pressing the power button a long time. After booting up with linux the next time, it says "failed to hibernate" (which is a correct diagnosis for this situation) ** Attachment added: "lspci-vvnn.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15050548/lspci-vvnn.log -- IBM T23 failed to hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/144189 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
