Public bug reported:

Everything was working fine on Gutsy.

Upgraded to Hardy and now the wireless network will not connect after booting
up. However, manually running:
  sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
...restores the connection.

Don't want to simply add a restart script to the rc. Cannot find
anything obvious in the logs. Got no help from the forums.
