i forgot to mention a few things, so i'm copying some stuff from my forum thread:

I've also tried to delete the .openoffice.org2 folder from that profile, logged out and logged back in, openoffice still will wont run. Even reinstalled the openoffice-core package, still no go... If I do sudo openoffice, it runs on that profile... What am I missing?
