I have exactly the same problem with AbiWord, v-2.4.6 using Ubuntu Hardy
Heron. If you click 'add' when spell-checking a document, then close and
restart AbiWord, the word will be flagged as an error again, because the
'added' words are not actually saved to a file anywhere. Also, under
'Preferences - Spell Checking' under the 'dictionaries' heading, the
options 'always suggest corrections' and 'suugest from main dictionary
only' and grayed out and not selectable. (This may or may not be related
to the same issue. It appears related to me, but I'm not a programmer.)
Has this been fixed in the latest (2.6+) versions of AbiWord? Would
upgrading solve this problem, or is it still an issue - do you happen to
know?
