please run find $HOME/.mozilla/firefox | grep localstore.rdf and attach that file to this bug. further, please try to run firefox in safe mode from the command line to see if it goes away: firefox -safe-mode If all this doesn't help, please backup your $HOME/.mozilla/ to a safe place, and remove "compreg.dat, extensions.*, XUL.mfasl and localstore.rdf " from the directory where you found localstore.rdf. If the last step solved your problems, please keep your old .mozilla directory for further analysis.
