The update did disable the detection of LAN printers on my network. I don't know if it has to do witht the themes but there were only 4 choices from the drop down box and none of them fit the problem. I have 4 computers on the network, 3 running ubuntu 1 running windows. Up to now the printer detection icon in the upper right corner of the panel has been present on all ubuntu computers and all computers including the window one has been able to print to the computer acting as a print server. Now icon is missing and detection of printer does not occur. I had to go into the cupsd.conf file and allow my network ip's as usual.
Thanks for the fast reply anyhow. ----- Original Message ---- From: Jeff Greene <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 18, 2006 11:56:38 AM Subject: [Bug 66761] Re: Detection of LAN printers Why is this a bug if the update did not disable a feature? Are you sure this has something to do with edgy-gdm-themes?
