I just managed to reproduce this, by doing exactly the same thing as I did last time: press 'v' (view source) on a particular email in kmail. I tried again, going for a different email and it didn't crash. Now, neither does the email that caused it the first two times. I'll leave the email hanging around for a bit, in case it's useful. It's also not personal, so I'm attaching it to this in case it should be useful. I'm still not able to determine if it is this email itself causing the issue, I don't use 'v' all that much and as it seems to be intermittent, it's hard to test properly. But maybe it has a funny character or something.
