Okay. How do I find out which package would be relevant? I am basically thinking of ways of syncing it with evolution.
Wammu looks like the solution for backup. By some technical reason I do not know, however, launchpad does not allow filing it against wammu. To get the degree of comfort expected by the average user, this would also require auto-detection and auto-opening of either an evolution syncing tool or wammu.
