As I see it it IS a bug! Here's what happens (3 times since upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04) after login as the final screen is being painted the mentioned error window appears. In each case I've (1) taken a screenshot and (2) saved it to the desktop intending to file a bug. Saving shouldn't work should it? In the process of performing that action the problem somehow disappears and start-up continues to "normal" completion.
I've attached a screenshot perhaps that will convince someone that there IS a problem. This is a real classic of obfuscation - only the developer could hope to understand the "message"! ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-nautilus.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14890979/Screenshot-nautilus.png -- Nautilus error during Gnome startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207921 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
