This only occurred on Edgy which used the 0.14.2.91 release of Pan which is no longer supported by the developer. So this bug should probably be closed unless the issue also occurs in 0.132 which is part of a complete C++ rewrite of Pan which has no base in the older releases like 0.14.2.91.
