Not sure if it is fixed or not, but it "works for me". I downloaded the 1013 daily alternative build cd and installed on Abit AB9 Pro motherboard using the JM controller without any problems what so ever. Clean install, no hacking about. Used a SATA Plextor DVD drive and a 400Gb SATA2 Samsung drive.
