Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mythtv-frontend
On some Australian DVB-T streams coming off-air in LiveTV mode, when it crosses a program boundary according to the off-air EPG, the video playback freezes. To resume, the user must exit and re-enter LiveTV mode. All other recording and playback functionality is working normally. The box is running an updated Hardy Heron (last update was about 3 days ago). It was installed as Edgy Eft some months ago and upgraded with the update manager. In older versions of MythTV on Ubuntu, it would sometimes stop the display with an error page: "There was an error showing video". But it was far less often than the current problem. I can't do a re-install of the box because it is our main TV and finding time to take it down to do that is very difficult. ** Affects: mythtv (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- mythtv livetv freezes on program boundary https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235902 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
