I have backports enabled and I keep having this issue. I thinks that's also affecting debian.. It sucks, because I really use it to write a lot of reports and it is becoming unusable. To be able to open a file, I must delete my .lyx folder, and open the file. Just by closing and re- opening the window, it's already crashing again.. :\
