I did a fresh install of Hardy the other day, and successfully installed Flash from Synaptic. I guess that whatever was causing this issue was cleared up before the release. Perhaps this bug is only affecting those dist-upgrading from the alpha releases? If that's the case, this bug should probably be closed...
