Thanks for response. I got the distribution upgrade finished OK by
enabling access to all the repositories, including the SRC ones. The upgrade
finished ok and 8.04 is running fine. Since repeated prior attempts had failed
maybe the default repositories are not enough. I use kubuntu for running my ham
radio programs.
Distribution upgrades are excellent idea. Thanks also for including
the Mozilla 3 Beta.
