I don't know if it's worth to open another bug report: as of now, under Hardy Heron, Nautilus exhibits a strange behaviour. Just use the "open with" feature to open a file type (.jpeg, .avi or whatever else), which already has a default app, with an application not yet listed in the menu: you select the program from the list and everything works right, but then the new application becomes the default. I don't know if it's a regression - in all previous Ubuntus the new app didn't become the default - or if it's meant to work this way from now on, in which case I think it's not a good idea.
