Public bug reported: This bug relates to Elisa Media center on Ubuntu 8.04.
Specifics: # uname -a Linux it 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux # glxinfo | grep render direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R300 20060815 x86/MMX/SSE2 TCL I have also attached my xorg.conf I do dualhead by using the command ; # xrandr --output LVDS --auto --left-of VGA-0 and run two displays Basic Laptop : 1024x768 ; Extra Screen: 1680x1050 Elisa: # elisa --version Elisa version 0.3.5 Issue: Elisa starts and goes into full screen mode and I can navigate and start some playback. But suddenly it freezes the display and only hard reeboot / ssh + restart ( restart GDM does not work either ) brings the system back to life, but all the while Elisa continues to play the music though. This happens both in Full screen mode and windowed mode and also on both the native laptop on single display only config or on both the heads of a dual display setup. ( i.e in any and evry form of display setup). I have compositor turned ON in XFCE while doing this. I have not tested this without the compositor ON. ** Affects: elisa (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- elisa freezes xserver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234447 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
