issuing the command "mount" returns approximately the following (I wrote most of it on a paper since I did not have write access on hardrive) : /dev/sda6 on / type jfs (rw, errors=remount-ro) proc on /proc type proc (rw, noexec, nosuid, nodev) sys on /sys type sysfs (rw, noexec, nosuid, nodev) varrun ... varlock ... udev ... devshm ... devpts ... lrm ... /dev/sda5 on /boot type ext3 (rw) /dev/sda7 on /home type jfs (rw) /dev/sda3 on /media/sda3 type fuseblk securityfs ... binfmt_... none on /proc/fs/vmblock/mountPoint type vmblock (rw)
