Confirm (8.04). Network sound works after installing the ALSA PulseAudio plugins from Debian unstable and telling all aps to output to ALSA instead of PulseAudio. When using the stock ALSA plugins to output to Pulse, Rhythmbox will randomly hang when switching desktops. When using gst-pulse, it will stutter on large screen redraws and won't work at all over the network.
