Binary package hint: linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-16-generic

when inserting the Vodaphone Cardbus Card into the cardbus slot - the system 
locks hard immediatly.
The last you see in the console is how it loads the nozomi driver.
Note that when booting the latest gutsy kernel in hardy - this does not happen.
Here is details on loading the driver with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic[
