RythmBox isn't the only application that this is happening with. I was
considering submitting another bug, but it seems that the problem that
I'm having is the same underlying problem.

I can play music through Amarok, and use firefox 3b5 fine, but somehow I think
firefox grabs the sound device after some time, and if I leave for awhile,
Amarok freezes. I get
pulseaudio[6006]: module-alsa-sink.c: Error opening PCM device front:0: Device
or resource busy
in syslog. If I kill Amarok and firefox, I can then open amarok again and it
will play music. Oh, and amarok freezes every time I restart it, until I close
firefox.

There is another, perhaps related, bug,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/209198, where they
suggest
'For firefox you can set in /etc/firefox-3.0/firefoxrc FIREFOX_DSP="padsp"'
But firefoxrc doesn't exist.
